We
would like to extend our thanks to people in the community who
have, through their work for or with Blue Wind,
-
generously contributed their time and talents to benefit the local
Charities/Programs that Blue Wind supports.
Blue Wind supports community organizations that directly
benefit our community
and have the broadest impact on the neediest.
Those organizations include shelters, food banks,
scholarship funds and emergency rescue services.
- Many times we
receive duplicate donation requests for the same organization.
- Please have a
representative contact us directly with all the events
- for the year. This
way we can choose the events our business model best supports.
We
do not donate towards door prizes, volunteer appreciation gifts, sport teams, churches, etc..
While we appreciate and recognize those
organizations' contributions to our community,
we do make a concerted effort to focus our
support where we feel it will have the most direct impact.
2010 budget has
not yet been fully funded
Our
charitable contributions for 2009 totaled over
$38,000.00 and grew from 2008!
(We are very proud of this!)

To be considered for 2011's budget for donations please forward the following information in an
email:
A copy of your mission statement
Your state tax id number & your federal tax id number
An overall breakdown - estimate of where the income you receive from our
donation goes
If we have donated before - a previous year's program guide with our
name/information listed
If not, please send an example of a listing.
While we believe that most requests are honorable, past
misrepresentations by some organizations
have forced us to require the above information.
All of the money we set aside
for charitable donation comes from the catering portion of Blue Wind's business.
Therefore, your support in
offering us the opportunity to bid on your group's events only enhances our
ability to give back.
Also, in lieu of a donation,
please consider that we might better serve your cause
by providing superior
product and service at a competitive price.
