- We do
recommend Boxed Lunches
over platters for the following reasons:
- It
is easier to refrigerate a few boxes for the people who can't eat right
away.
- Due
to the communal nature of self-service from platters, individual boxes are
generally more
sanitary.
- A Boxed
Lunch uses less
plastic, creating less garbage for landfills. Lets take care of the
environment!

Platters, which are disposable,

1 set of disposable tongs.
(Extra tongs are $3.00 ea.)

We
are now using earth-friendly food packaging made from
sugarcane and other natural materials which are biodegradable and compostable.
There
are no hidden costs for services or materials; just menu prices.
We
can schedule an extra staff member
to deliver and set up your food at the rate of $25.00 per hour or fraction thereof.
Please arrange one week in advance for delivery.
Due
to the required commitment of time, staff and products, we have found the
following policy to be necessary:
Ensure that you
confirm your e-mail order with a call to Blue Wind at 301-737-2714.
The Customer must
confirm the order they
are placing from the regular published menu, or menu emailed from Blue Wind
Gourmet staff, with an e-mail from a personal or corporate email
account. Customers are guaranteeing payment for this order
through their company and, also, are committing to be personally liable for
payment for goods and services provided. All customers also agree to pay any collection/legal/in-house accounting
fees associated with the order/catering/service, etc.
